The Franklin Institute Unveils American Presidents Exhibit

Phialdelphia Entertainment News

The Franklin Institute has re-opened and now features a new exhibit. “The Presidents By Madame Tussauds” is open to the public as of July 8th.

It features a wax figure of every single US President and some important historical figures, including former First Lady Michelle Obama, Benjamin Franklin, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, and more, making 56 wax figures in total.

To promote the new exhibit, the museum offered a sneak peek at one of the figures. The Former President Barack Obama wax figure was stationed at Broad and Chestnut Streets in Center City. Many people drove and walked past it. If you glanced quickly at it, you might think it was actually the President, the likeness is uncanny.

It will also teach people how science and technology have shaped and been shaped by American culture and leaders. You can see all of these figures and more through January 3rd, 2021.

If you wish to see this exhibit, you must buy tickets in advance. This is in part because of the restrictions the museum has in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
