Just like everything else in 2020, Philly Music Fest is happening in a unique manner. The late September celebration will be live streamed from Ardmore Music Hall, giving swaths of fans an opportunity to hear the complete lineup without a huge public health risk.
Unlike some other online concerts, those who choose to tune into Philly Music Fest’s live stream will actually be observing the artists performing live, rather than a pre-recorded show. Four HD audio/video devices will work in tandem to bring the magic of music from Ardmore Music Hall to your home.
Headlining acts for this year’s modified festival include Japanese Breakfast, Langhorne Slim, and Mt. Joy. They will be joined by five other acts representing a diversity of genres including emo rock, dream pop, indie folk, and funk.
Philly Music Fest is a non-profit endeavor and the listed mission of the organization is a noble one: encourage the citizens of Philadelphia to support their scene. All of the featured artists live in the city of Philadelphia and are looking to expand their fanbases. You can show your support by not only streaming this event on September 24th and 25th but also donating to Philly Music Fest. Find more information about the event and how to donate here!
