New Surf And Turf Restaurant, The Fin, Opened In Fishtown

Phialdelphia Entertainment News

The largest and newest seafood destination, The Fin, just opened, on Dec. 9, in none other than Fishtown at 1000 Frankford Ave. #1. The new surf and turf restaurant features a casual, contemporary vibe, with 10,000 square feet of space. The Fin is located where Made Rex used to be, next to the new Brooklyn Bowl and across from Punchline, Rivers Casino and Goose Island.

The Fin is a new one-of-a-kind restaurant concept and brand that is Philly born by Crab du Jour, a national chain that is owned and operated locally, according to a press release. The ultimate goal is for The Fin to have dozens of locations across America.

The new hotspot seats 220 people, has a sweeping center bar and lounge, complete with a 25-foot television, and private and semi-private event spaces.

As for the menu, restaurant goers can look for an extensive and inventive menu of original surf and turf favorites. It features everything from Whole Red Snapper to Rockfish, Whole Lobster to custom make your own Seafood Boils, Chicken and Waffles to Shrimp and Grits, and a unique must-try Cajun Crab Cheesecake.

If you are 21 or over, the bar might just be where you want to spend your time. The bar features over 325 wine selections and 120 cocktails.

The Fin is open from Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, Saturday 12:00pm to 2:00 am and Sunday, 12:00pm to 10:00pm.

The Fin will open with dinner, dine-in, take-out, pick-up, bar, late night and private events/catering. Look for happy hour, late night special menus, concert menus, lunch, brunch and expanded hours down the road. Reservations can be made online or by calling 215-593-2228.
