Moe’s Tavern Pop-Up Arrives At Springfield Mall

Philly Entetainment News

We put the Spring in Springfield! The popular Moe’s Tavern from the show, The Simpsons, is running a pop-up shop in every location named Springfield. Every Wednesday through Sunday from September 10 to the 26, the fan-made pop-up event will be at the Upper level of the Springfield Mall in Delco.

The pop-up is made to feel like fans are actually in Moe’s Tavern. Whether you want to try something on their menu, play pool, listen to prank phone calls that Bart Simpson made or just check out the spot, tickets are required and must be purchased in advance.

Each ticket includes 1 menu item, 1 beverage, and a commemorative patch and keyring. More swag comes with the higher priced tickets.

If you’re over 21, you can even order a Duff Do’h! Beer, which is brewed by Philly’s Evil Genius Bar. If you are a fan of doughnuts, mmmm donuts, be sure to try the Drunkin’ D’Ohnuts Shake, which is a hand-scooped, extra-thick vanilla milkshake with two large pink frosted doughnuts, hand decorated pretzels rod and character chocolate, served in a take-home commemorative glass.

However, it is not just one part of the mall. As you travel throughout the mall, get your passport stamped in different locations. If you collect all of the stamps, you get a one-of-a-kind prize for completing your “bar crawl.”

But just because it is a ‘tavern’ doesn’t mean you should leave the kids at home. They have plenty of options for kids and it is labeled as a family-friendly event. Moe’s Pop Up also encourages costumes to be worn, so put on your best Simpsons character costume and head on down to the Springfield Mall if you want to check out the experience.

The Simpsons TV show is not associated with this event.
